adventure without risk is disneyland

So the new Douglas Coupland book, JPod, is out, and I don't have it yet for some reason. I've read mixed reviews on it, but I guess there's nothing out there that everyone likes. I've read that it's an update of Microserfs and I've read that it's a worthless pile of crap. I'm not expecting it to be as good as Microserfs or Life After God, but I like everything he's written to some degree.

I actually haven't bought a new book in a while, and I get paid Friday, so perhaps I will treat myself.
