About me: I have crooked teeth and wide, clumsy hands and a thing for charcoal drawings. In my dreams I'm a sexy librarian; in real life I'm an Administrative Assistant for a local IT company. In June of 2004 I graduated from CalPoly University where I studied creative writing and wrote my first chapbook, Digging For Bells. I'm married to a man who is like ripe figs and red balloons and all things electric to me. He's an accidential meatcutter. In his dreams he lives a double life: poet by day, ninja pirate by night. We live 6 blocks from the ocean in our small apartment with dropping fuschias in the backyard. We like to go to the tide pools and name the neighborhood cats as if they are our own.
*Dash the Moon is derived from a poem titled Dash It by Annie Dillard, author of Pilgram at Tinker Creek
